Totally getting lord of the fliesish between the two factions of losties.

Holy crap about the 30 minute time delay with Daniel's experiment.

And what the fuck?  Jacob's cabin can move?

Apparently the cabin can move. The time delay was weird. Why did Sayid trade Miles for Charlotte? I mean, what is the reasoning behind that?

So we know who 4 of the Oceanic 6 are. I kept wondering why would Sayid work with Ben after being on the island. I think it all comes back to the secret that the Oceanic 6 are keeping to themeselves.

I can't help but wonder if maybe in the Jack flash forward if maybe sayid is the one in the coffin. Don't have anything to support that idea but it entered my mind.

Also, if you watched last week's episode, they had the info screen on the bottom. Why does Dan need a caregiver?

All in all, this episode was interesting. I( have to watch it again.

I think it was the BEST EVER episode, this epi has changed the whole dynamics of the show, I felt as if I was watching something Robert Ludlum wrote.
The German girls mysterious employer was looking for Ben and Ben was looking for the mysterious employer leads me to an off the wall theory.
I think the mysterious employer and the "he" Kate refers to in Jacks FF are one and the same.  Perhaps the ones (the O6) that made it off the island did so by aligning themselves with one group or another, for whatever reason, i.e. blackmail, having past records erased, insuring those left behind are safe, etc.

btw TI, did you notice Sayid hitting the golf ball from the left side? LOL Sayid is a lefty

Are you saying they had the subtitles with little tidbits on the bottom like they did with the recap eppy? Dayum, I wished I'd re-seen that eppy now.

I suppose then, that the golf flash forward scene took place a significant time AFTER the love affair gone wrong scene. Sayid finally caught up w/ the "economist" and he also swung that club like he had never been shot in the shoulder.

I'm not sure I'm enjoying this forced dynamic. I like it better when they were all on the same team. I fear the two teams are going to be even more conflicted in the future.

I suppose this solidifies for us about what Hurley saw. He DID definitely see the cabin and the cabin can DEFINITELY move.

but now does this also mean Locke has lost some of his island ties? He ended up killing Naomi. I still think there's some weird island rule to where if you murder, you're held accountable in some karma-type way.

OKAY - LOVED the Sayid-centric epi!!!

Couple of things... Could it be that Naomi's bracelet said "N... I'll always be with you R.G." (meaning the Regina that Daniel was talking to who is on the freighter??? - Could Regina be R.G.?) - ALSO, I think that "Ilsa - Elsa" is really Regina, disguising HER accent when she meets Sayid & that if we saw the inscrïption on HER bracelat it wouyld say "R - We'll always be together N.C." -or IE Naiomi C or whatever Naoimi's last initial is...

Maybe the Regina who was on the frieghter & Naiomi were actually sisters (not code)

On the cabin appearing & disappearing, IMHO, the cabin is a manifestation of Jacob's... and Jacob is Smokey... and Smokey can appear as WHOEVER he wants to appear as & make the cabin appear wherever he wants it to... MUCH to Ben's chagrin! (and Locke's!"

How about Hurley & his little betrayal thing??? - That was the one & only thing which really suprised me.

Sayid working for Ben, being an assasin, doing those kind of things does not really suprise me too much, seems kinda right up his alley. Sayid has been a spy/torturer/agent for whoever so long it's hard for me to see that changing. Seems like Love is the only time he even considers changing that for him but it seems that Sayid is unlucky in love. (Maybe he's lucky at cards!)

Most interesting line of the night - Sayid:  "Forgive me, but the day I start trusting him (Ben) is the day I will have sold my soul"

Apparently Sayid does exactly that when he becomes one of the Oceanic 6.  As soon as the line came out of his mouth, I knew we'd be seeing Ben as his "boss"

I did NOT expect Ben to be Sayid's boss. But finding out that fact made me wonder who Elsa's boss was. I felt REALLY bad for Sayid when he shot her. He seemed to really love her.

I see R.G. as the initials on Naomi's bracelet. The entire episode I was trying to figure out who R.G. was, but I agree with whoever said it may be the Regina that is on the freighter.

Why did Miles tell Daniel not to talk to Minkowski? That seemed a little odd to me.

I was wondering if the "he" Kate was referring to in last season's finale was Ben. If Sayid is working for Ben, why not Kate?

They did have the subtitle info again, Borky.  I missed any mention of Dan's caretaker, though.  I'm guessing it was at the beginning when he can't explain his reaction to the crash news?  I'm curious what they'll have to say about the time disparity in Dan's experiment next week.  It did mention that Dan noticing the light "diffusing wrong" is a result of the island's "special properties"

I agree that Miles' reaction at that point was odd, especially after he made such a huge deal about talking to Minkowski himself (although he didn't get to speak to him)

I wonder what Ben could possibly have offered "the six" that would get them to accept situations where he's basically in control of them in the real world.

On that bill was Michael Faraday, FRS (September 22, 1791 - August 25, 1867) was an English chemist and physicist (or natural philosopher, in the terminology of that time) who contributed to the fields of electromagnetism and electrochemistry.

Magnetism.  Hmmm.

In addition, this particular note is no longer in circulation.  It was only used between 1991 and 2001.  Does Ben keep old money around for a reason?  Could he be traveling in time as well as in space?






One of Ben's identities is Dean Moriarty.  Dean is the protagonist, if there really is one, of a book, "On The Road" by Jack Kerouak.  Dean isn't a famous philosopher or scientist, but his wanderlust is certainly a befitting parrallel to Ben's apparent globe trotting.

One of the books Sayid found on Ben's book shelf was the Quran, the Holy Muslim book.

Seems maybe they do have some more in common.

MILES raises his hand towards Sayid.  He seems to hear something.

SAYID stops and watches MILES as he scans the surroundings, listening intently.

                                                       SAYID (Sarcastic)
                                  I'm sorry, are we supposed to be
                                  hearing something?

A beat passes and MILES is suddenly aware that SAYID had spoken to him.

                                  I'm sorry, what?

KATE is examining the control panel.

                                                       KATE
                                 Maybe I can shut it off.

SAYID joins her, bending over to examine the panel.

                                                       SAYID
                                 And, how might you do that?

                                                       KATE
                                 I saw Juliet do it once.

                                                       SAYID (Doubtful)

ANGLE ON MILES.  He continues to scan with a slight twitch, similar to when we saw him reading the boys room in Confirmed Dead.  Suddenly he walks through the pylons and turns towards an astonished KATE and SAYID.

                                 Hey, I don't think its on.

                                                       KATE
                                 And how did you know that?

                                                       MILES
                                 Lucky guess.

MILES turns and walks away.  SAYID and KATE exchange puzzled glances and proceed after him.
