Borky, I am having the same problem. It lags a bit, so I get just past check point 9 and I run out of time...grrrr!!!

SG, yes, this happens before Naomi arrived, since she had said that they had found the wreckage in a deep trench...plus we see the newscast.

Maxwell Group hid a fake 815 in the Sunda Trench to be found as THE wreckage in a planned cover up.

In order to be unsuspiscious, Maxwell needs a patsy to find the fake 815.

Enter Sam the patsy.

An unknown Maxwell insider leaks info and pretends to be helping Sam find Sonya.

Conveniently for Sam Patsy, Maxwell purposely sets up a fake expedition to find Black Rock around the same location as fake 815.

To shed even more suspiscion, Maxwell plants dickwad Talbot to butt heads with Sam, making it *look* like he's against Sam's efforts to sway the Black Rock mission.

Talbot, when the prize is at its nearest, sits back and let's Sam do his thing... find 815.

Now Maxwell is in the clear if questions arise. "Hey, we were looking for Black Rock. We had no idea this Sam guy was gonna sabotage our expedition for his own personal adventure. But hey, he found 815 so good for him i guess."

The general thinking is that it will open up tonite, although, I'm not sure what evidence this is based on.

Do we at least know what the user name is? I don't remember seeing anything in the game that it hinted would be it (other than the numbers at the end which I doubt) unless I missed something

The news clip that plays at the end where Talbot is speaking  appears to me that its is the same clips found in the glitches of Sam's video diary for Chapter 5.
