From Lostpedia:

  • Episode 22 - the season finale - will be Ben-centric (as confirmed by Damon Lindelof)

  • "As far as I know, I think the finale will be two hours long." Source: Gregg Nations at The Fuselage

  • "I think Penny and Desmond's relationship will become something that will be a part of the season finale. There will be revelations relating to the Season 2 finale scene of an Arctic scenario, we will be paying off that reveal in a very significant way. The idea that Penny is looking for Desmond is something that doesn’t pay off on the Island until the finale.” Source: Carlton Cuse

  • The Producer's code-name for the Season's climatic scene in this episode has been revealed as 'The Snake in the Mailbox'. Source: Ask-Ausiello

*is excited for a Ben flashback*

To wait til the end of the season before finally getting to one... kinda builds the anticipaton. Hopefully it won't disappoint!

  • 03/27 - Sources tell me the producers wanted to bring him back for the finale, but Harold [Perrineau] decided not to return to the show. Source: Kristin on E!Online [Note: Read our 03/27 general spoiler from BuddyTV for another take on Perrineau not wanting back on the show.]

what the hell? He doesn't want back on one of the most popular shows on television?
So are we just gonna have to forget about Michael and Walt??

Apparently he's doing a pilot for CBS:

This was a quote from a USA Today article:

Quote :

Harold Perrineau, who was Michael on ABC's Lost, showed up at the party with wife Brittany and daughter Aurora. He is working on a CBS pilot called Demons but says he still could return to Lost: "We're trying to figure out if I can get back next season and do both."

Since the pilot is for another network, my guess is that if the pilot is picked up, he likely won't be back, unless it's for a short guest appearance. If the pilot bombs, he will be.

It may be that the finale is going to be filmed at the same time as Demons. He might not have wanted/been able to run back and forth to Hawaii. (Regardless of the money offered, which was part of the Kristin spoiler - that he kept saying no and they kept upping the money.)

My guess is that if he can't or won't come back next season, they'll recast Michael with a similar looking actor. I've read interviews with Damon/Carlton where they said the Michael/Walt storyline would be followed up... just not in season 3.

  • 03/28 - I'm hearing something about a season-ending showdown between the 815ers and the Others. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide

  • Some of the characters [from episode 20], if rumors are true, will make their way into the May 23th two-hour finale to continue their trek through time. That episode will likely be Ben centric and is rumored to give us an insight into the island that will have fans talking all summer long. DHARMA will, again, factor heavily into the episode and the fabled ‘incident’ as well as the ‘purge’, (one in the same?), will be touched upon.Source:BuddyTV

  • Young Benjamin Linus will be making an appearance in an upcoming episode. The role hasn’t been cast yet, which means that the episode is at least a month and a half away. Source: 20somethings’ Culturehouse March 16th

  • The division between the others will come to a dramatic ending this season, there will be a huge war between our heroes and the others. Probably more shocking, Claire will play a huge role in the final leading her to find out Jack is in fact her brother as we see a more darker side to her. Source: Digital Spy

Me too, ILE.

I wondered when Claire/Jack would find out the truth about their parentage. Now I'm just wondering how they find out.

Yes me too!

I`m confused though, as some spoilers say a huge war between the Others and the Losties, and some say they will have to join forces against someone else.

If half of that happens, Lost will undoubtably be back on top.  And all the naysayers will be eating their words. I have a feeling the season finale is gonna make everything up till then look like childs play.  And I'm wondering if the others and Losties will form two new groups.  Another words no more Losties and others.  Some from others and losties form group A and the rest form group B.

Like the Losties who want to stay and the Hostiles who want to leave now that the sub is blown?  How about the (four) Toed and the (we're outta) Hare for group names? Gimme time, I know I can do better.

Juliet What is that?
Richard Alpert That is orange juice...with a considerable amount of Dharma Calms Forte mixed in.
Juliet You want me to drink it?
