Both Dark Ufo and Lostpedia seems to think this will be a Charlie-centric episode.

From Dark Ufo:

An actress playing a young nurse from Manchester who's also Charlie's school friend will appear in this episode. We apparently will also find out about Charlie's dad in more depth.
Source: Digital Spy

On UK Show "Richard and Judy", in an interview with Carlton Cuse, writer and executive producer of Lost via sattellite, he confirmed that the Charlie problem would be resolved in episode 16 which then he later confirmed the title as "The Truth About Lying".
Source: Channel 4 (UK) Richard and Judy

To quote " That's the truth about lying Charlie, you'll always get found out. But if you don't, then you have to live with that." This could possibly be said by Claire, Desmond or Locke.
Source: Media Guardian

To keep fans in suspense, this episode which was originally episode 16, but was postponed.

Dominic Monaghan stated in an interview with Media Guardian, that his flashback episode would be one of the last in the season, however, not the finale but that his character would play an important role in the finale without him physically being there.
Source: Media Guardian

Charlie's fate will be decided in the final two episodes of the season.

Ooh wait, nevermind.

It's the title Jules' episode was first known as, but has since been changed.

My bad.

The quote definitely sounds like something Locke would say.

His character plays an important role in the finale without his physically being there? Hmm... sounds like he dies in this episode, and maybe that leads to the showdown between the 815ers and the Others that has been commented on by the spoilers.

  • 04/03 - As for the fate of Charlie, in episode 21, his next flashback, looks like there are two females characters playing cops (or something similar), one of whom is "about nailing the perp to the wall, no matter how you do it..." There's also a blue-collar family—a father and two sons—all with Mancunian accents. (Residents of Manchester, England, are called Mancunians.) All three members of the family are "required to swim in a pool," which makes me worry a little bit about drowning. Source: Kristin on E!Online

Oh geez the Charlie may die stuff is not just fan speculation but a distinct possibility?

I'm really going to be surprised if they kill off ANOTHER character, but it doesn't look good for him based on what is posted here.

Pen, we still have one death coming this season, so it seems like a big possibility.

  • 3.21 - The Truth About Lying / The Greatest Hits (Charlie Centric)
Rescue is finally at hand for the survivors of Oceanic 815, but first someone must reconnect an underwater sonar beacon. Despite his foretold death, Charlie volunteers. Copious rumors suggest that Charlie dies in this episode, but some new rumors I've been hearing suggest that this is a huge misdirection and there will be another highly unexpected major character death instead. Could the underwater sonar beacon be in connection with the cable spoiler from the Desmond Episode?

Per DarkUfo:

FILMING RIGHT NOW rainy alley way....Charlie is wearing the same black leather jacket and carrying his guitar just like the flashbackscene he had with Desmond so this is a continuation of that same day Desmond met Charlie singing on the sidewalk.

A lady is being mugged in the alley way....GUESS WHO!!????!!

It's Naomi. He saves her from the mugger with the knife.

Hmmm, so I would assume that Naomi knows Desmond because at this scene, it puts them all in the same general area on the same day.

They are also setting up now at the same corner where Desmond and Charlie came upon eachother in London, only they have a big "green screen", and they haven't decorated anything else, so I'm assuming they'll be bringing down the rainmaking stuff and Desmond may show up with Charlie and/or Naomi to tie it all together and they will just green screen the rest later in the background.

  • Emilie de Ravin: There is the possibility of a Claire-Desmond-Charlie love triangle, although Dominic Monaghan says that a lot of it is "in Charlie's head". Claire and Charlie will be getting "hot and heavy". Source: 4-09-07: Watch with Kristin

  • Charlie will have a lot of tough choices [to make], because it would be easiest and safest to just stay in his tent, but on this island, you know, that's difficult. There are some very emotional things going on for Claire. Source: 3-30-07: Lost Official Magazine

  • Sources tell me Hurley may have something to do with the Charlie 'n' Claire lovey-doveyness that lies ahead. Source: 2-03-07: Watch with Kristin

Did you see the guest list:

Quote :

- Nadia is back, does she have a connection with someone else? Does this mean Sayid is the one that dies?
- Rose and Bernard back at last
- Danielle, Alex and Karl
- We see a young Charlie and Liam and I suspect Simon Pace is Charlie's dad.

I got this from DarkUFO spoilers.

*has become spoiled again LOL*
