Oh no! I remember old theories about this a while back.....when I first started reading online. The theory was that there was a real flight 815 and they were part of a fake flight sent to the island -- it was more involved then that and I recall some theories even being on the old OWA Globe Discussion boards.

Y'know though... IF this is a staged flight, it MAY be interesting to see why. Like Hanso/Dharma/someone non-Other since they didn't seem to know about the plane, are forcing and testing a sort of Darwin natural selection kinda thing or something.

However, if this is a fake flight, how can the news reports be explained? Sure, it can be argued that they were viewing fake feeds but didn't know it, but Alpert leaves the island, had it been fake, I think he'd have noticed there were no stories anywhere.

What news reports? Why am I having a senior moment?

I agree, if this was a "fake" flight there will be a lot of stuff that doesn`t add up. And those live feeds, they weren`t for the benefit of the Losties so there would be no reason to include them really? It was only Juliet, Mikhail and Ben watching them. And Juliet were more concerned with Julian right, so I can`t really see why they would fake those news feeds.

Don't know about the fake flight idea.  But this does peak my curiosity as anyone who was on OWA's Flight 213 remembers, Our Flight 213 turned into 815. HMMM.

I really hope the on island stuff is good because now that TPTB have revealed that Jae jumped, (Say that 5 times fast) I could care less about Jin and Sun episodes.  Unless it reveals something about Mr paik being involved in the island.  I was anxious to see who pushed Jae, but there goes that fun for me Thanks TPTB.

I agree, Littlet. I never bought into the idea that he was pushed. And actually, I remember from a podcast or interview shortly after that episode aired TPTB saying that he committed suicide, so I thought that was settled long ago.

I thought he was pushed myself.   Where did it get verified he killed himself - I didn't see that in the episode???

This makes me laugh:
How is Mikhail alive? Wasn’t he microwaved to death by The Others’ invisible fence? Is it true no one on the island can stay dead and that Eko is now sharing cocktails in the dolphin tank with Shannon, Nikki, Goodwin, Arzt and Christian Shephard?
ABC says Sun discovers that all of The Others’ pregnant women died before giving birth on the island. Would ABC lie to you?


I wish they were all alive I think Mikhail's "death" is so different because he was never buried, for one thing....
