Hmm, what to make about Cindy after we saw her during Jack's recent episode. She seemed brainwashed IMHO. And she also seemed a bit loopy, like she was on medication. Did anyone else notice that? I'm happy to see she is okay. But the fact she asked Jack "how is Ana Lucia" when, as of the time she left the tailies, she had no idea that AL would have ultimately met up with Jack, in retrospect is more odd than it first appeared. I know the little girl asked that but my point is how could either assume he'd know who AL was, considering when Cindy last saw AL? |

My guess Pen is just that she knew he was on the plane (from serving him drinks) and made an assumption. I'd have to go back and review the dialogue to see if there were more clues, but it is possibly just a "2+2=4" scenario. If Jack had said "who?" then she'd know they never met up, but it was worth asking. | |||

Yeah I think it was strange too the inquiring about AL. Also is Cindy brainwashed, and to be considered one of the others now? They were (probably) present during the reading of Juliet`s verdict - and seemed to be walking around freely. And her "it`s not that simple" answer too. I agree that she seems to be on some sort of medication or something. |

I bet Cindy shows up more in Season 4. Just a thought here, first, Cindys job was to watch the children on the beach, the children disappear and then once Cindy is reunited with the kids she seems to be put back into that role at least to an extent. Another point, you have to remember that the Tail Section survivors did not have it as good as the other Losties, the Others had houses and electricity and regular food and activities to occupy spare time, I am assuming that they had running water for real baths and showers and restroom facilities. IMHO if one was not accustomed to the rough life of wilderness survival the others camp just might not look all that bad. Whereas as a Oceanic 815 survivor to the point that she was captured, she was bossed around by Anna Lucia, and in fact did not get any respect at all from her fellow Tailies. |
