Isabel first appears in S3.



Isabel first appears in "Stranger in a strange land". She's one of the Others, and Tom calls her "The Sheriff". She meets Jack when she shows up at the cages, reading out-loud the tattoo on his arm. She appears to be leading the "sentencing" of Juliet after she shot Danny and told Jack to kill Ben.

I wonder if Isabel has lived her whole life on the island, like Ben claims he has?

And also what position she has with the Others - she seems to be in charge (Tom also refers to her as "The Sheriff"). But the moment Ben orders them to stop the execution she obeys him.
