Not necessarily if it turned out he wasn`t 500, it was just an example to indicate how we would be disappointed if it turned out his backstory was really boring and not all cool like we are thinking now.

A disappointing backstory would be to discover he uses Maybelline Rejuvenating Facial and thus, while chronologically 65, appears 35

He used to work at McDonalds and Taco Bell before his arrival at the island. The reason he seemingly never ages is his close relationship with botox on his frequent trips to Miami*

What does this mean for our favorite immortal pirate? With a tv show on a competing network, presumably filming at the same time in LA, while Lost is filming in Hawaii, does this mean Richard is no more? Is his role recast? Does he just disappear and we never find out more about him?

Ugh, this sucks. Hopefully it plays out well for us lol.

I saw a brief interview that Kristin did with him (which sadly, I can't find now) where they said he just has long gorgeous eyelashes.  LOL.  So no makeup.
