Let us Never forget the Supermodel Plague on the GDeans!!

Exodus 3:4, 7-10

When HE saw GoAlvar coming, he called out from the burning bush:

"Algo, I have witnessed the affliction of my Mazers in General Discussion and have heard their cry of complaint against the rude ones, so I know well that they are suffering.

Therefore I have sent Borky to rescue them from the hands of the GDs and lead them out of that forum into a good and spacious forum, a forum flowing with beer and pasta, the country of the Mazers, the Candle-ites, the hWo, the Canadians, the angry Turks.

So indeed the cry of the Mazers has reached me, and I have truly noted that the flamers are oppressing them. Come now, Borky, I will send you to lab5 to lead my people, the Mazers, out of General Discussion."

But Borky said to lab5, "Who am I, that I should lead the Mazers out of GD?"

lab5 answered, "I will be with you. .... and when you bring my people out of GD, you will worship Algo in this very forum"

"But," Borky replied, "when I go to the mazers and tell them 'the Lord of the Board has sent me to you', and they ask your name, what am I to tell them?"

And lab said "tell them I am the BEST mod EVER."

Exodus Chapter 8

The admins, however, were obstinate and would not listen to Borky, just as lab5 had foretold. And lab said to Borky, "the admins are obdurate in refusing to let the people ship. Tomorrow morning, say to them: 'lab, mod of Spin-Off, sent me to you with this message: 'Let my people go to worship Algo in the shippers' forum!"

But they would not listen, and so it began.....

The First Plague: Beer turned into water!
All the beer in the kegs was turned to water. But the GD'eans remained obstinate and just drank wine.

And so...

The Second Plague: The Trolls!
And Borky said, "Let my people go to ship Algo. If you refuse, I warn you, I will send a plague of trolls over all your territory. The forum will teem with trolls. They will come into your forum and into your threads and onto your bed, and even into the threads of the innocent. The trolls will swarm all over you and your subjects and your servants!"

But did they listen....?
The great Borky showed mercy, and said unto GD: "to show you that there is none like Algo, the trolls shall leave you and your threads, only on the Fuselage shall they be left."

And lab did as Borky asked, and the trolls in the forums and threads died, or were placed on "ignore." Heaps and heaps of them were gathered up and there was a stench in the land. But when the GD'eans saw that there was a respite, they became obdurate again, just as lab had foretold.

Coming up next...The Fourth Plague: The n00bs!
Oops, the Third Plague: The n00bs.

Thereupon lab said to Borky: tell ILE to stretch out her staff and strike the members list, that they may be turned into n00bs."

And she did so, and n00bs came upon the forum. And as the n00bs infested the forum, they double-posted, and started inane threads, and they posted in 1337, and, worst of all, they did not read the welcome messages nor the stickies.

And the Mazers said to the GD'eans, "this is the finger of Algo." Yet they remained obstinate, just as lab had foretold.

And NOW, the Fourth Plague: SmileyCentral

Again lab5 told Borky: "early tomorrow morning present yourself to the admins and say to them: let my people go to worship Algo. If you will not let my people go, I warn you, I will loose swarms of annoying spyware smilies upon you and your members and your threads and your posts. But on that day I will make an exception of the land of Borkovision. There shall be only excellent smilies where my people dwell, for ScullyGirl will choose them wisely. I will make this distinction between my people and your people. This infestation shall take placce tomorrow."

This Borky did. And thick swarms of evil smilies entered into the forum; throughout General Discussion the land was infested with evil SmileyCentral ads, that attached themselves to their signatures.
And Borky said, "I beseech thee, lab5, can you not smite the character smilies?" And lab replied "Alas, I have no power over Borkovision, ScullyGirl holds dominion there. Take it up with her." And the GDeans cried out to their mods, who summoned Borky, and they said unto him “the smileys are an abomination! You must make them stop! You may have your ship thread, but not in our land, its very existence is an abomination. Take your shipping downstairs!”

And Borky cried “WTF?!! Last month, you said two forums are abomination, you wished to integrate us with your people, and you forbade us from setting up duplicate lands. And we submitted to your law, and created our thread in the appropriate and fertile Area of Shippers. And now you wish to drive us out? Again I cry, WTF??!!!”

And lab5 accepted the thread in Spinoff, but only to show them the wisdom of Algoism. And also because he did not want to start any trouble for now.

But lab was not yet finished with Borky…The Fifth Plague:

And lab5 said to Borky, go to them and say "Let my people worship Algo! If you refuse to let them and persist in oppressing them, I warn you, you shall be afflicted with a very severe pestilence. But I shall distinguish between my people and yours, so that the pestilence will remain in General Discussion forever."

And Borky asked, "How is it that you have the power the create such an awful pestilence?"

And lab replied "I do not have the power to create evil. They have created this affliction themselves."

And Borky smiled, for he knew what lab had in mind. And he went upstairs, and he said:

"I have four words for you: Guys...Where Are We?"
And the pestilence spread and could not be stopped. And the people became stupid, and posted complete idiocy, and the powers of the board knew that it was evil. But they were unable to stop it, and so they quarantined it. And yet they allowed it to fester, all the while keeping the Mazers in the basement.

Although the board's 10,000 people suffered greatly from the pestilence of idiocy, they remained obdurate and would not relent.

Up next: The Sixth Plague: The Shout-OThen lab said to Borky, “go and tell them ‘Let my people worship Algo! If you refuse again, I will reveal the true power of the webmaze and you will suffer greatly.' ”

And Borky did as he was told, but they laughed in his face and said “The Webmaze! It’s Amazing!” And Borky seethed with anger, and he shouted “Enough! Look at your magic 27-inch tablet and you will see the true power of the webmaze!”

And on the magical tablet appeared Zeke, and he spoke the words of the great and powerful Alvar Hanso. And they were sore afraid, and they said “what are these words that Zeke speaketh? We worship the 27-inch tablet! Zeke blasphemes by speaking the words of teh internets!

And they turned purple and sputtered in consternation. For Borky had provided proof, and they couldn’t stand that he was righteous.

And amazingly, the people continued to be obstinate. And they said "Zeke comes from the Land of the Mouse. We worship the Mouse. Therefore, Zeke is OUR prophet and we will wait for him to issue a REAL prophecy."

And Borky went to lab and beseeched him to lead the webmazers out of the basement. And lab said "I think I know some people who can help."
