Or perhaps it is just one possible future?  Jack refers to his father being alive.  And yet it appears the crash has happened.  SO what is that all about?

I don't think Jack's dad is alive. I think he is so messed up in the head he keeps referring to him as if he was alive.

Well, Locke tried to make them all stay, and he wasn't really close to anyone.

I am thinking Kate is with Sawyer.  It would make sense  And yet the way she said "he'll be wondering where I am" made me think she could actually end up with a controlling freak like Ben?

But Jack told the nurse that his father wrote the prescrïption and the nurse said she was going to call him to make sure.. wouldnt they know hes dead?

No, I don't think every pharmacist in LA would know that one doctor was dead.  So it is a good scam to use his old prescrïption pad to get drugs.

But definitely the doc in the hospital would know if he was dead, so when Jack said "get my dad down here" he would know.  

Maybe Jackwas being sarcastic?  Just to point out that they used to let a big drunk work there?

OK, so maybe Naomi works for Widmore or/and Paik, and Penny is working against him/them.

I think Jack being out of his mind is likely. Or, like you just said super, making a comment about how they let his father stay despite his problems for so long.

I don't think it's Widmore or Paik. I think Hanso or Dharma. Ben made a point of his decision making over 40 people die comment, imo, not only to try to tell Jack not to let something like that happen again, but because whoever it is is looking for the island because of what happened... Hostiles taking over, etc. Also will be why Ben had the station blocked... doens't want to be caught, cuz he knows he is fucked.
