Nothing overly special, definitely setting up for next week. Not a bad episode though. Probably the first time I've felt much emotion towards Charlie. I've been all for him dying, up until now.

I teared up. I may have cried a little.

I was absolutely heartbroken when the ring was left unnoticed in Aaron's crib.

And I rarely yell at the tv, but I was very upset with what Charlie said to Hurley. I know he didn't want to tell him what was going on, but I sat there saying, "Ugh, you idiot! Don't make the last thing you say to him an insult! Say something!!"

Charlie's #1 moment in his life being when he met her pleased the hell outta the sap in me. It was just so incredibly sweet, and I cried.

Oh, and LMAO @ when Karl was all, "She's the mole!!" And Juliet's response made me laugh too... "They know. But thanks..." LOL.

Anyway, good epi setting up for what should be an incredible finale!!

ETA: Oh, and the tree blowing up was awesome! LOL.

Oh yes, and the blonde chick at the end... very familiar, but hard to make out on the fuzzy bunny ears tv. Should I have recognized her?

he didn't die!!!
OMG I am rejoicing!!!

I cried several times during this episode thinking this was the end for him. Turns out -- he's stuck in an underwater hatch with hawt female dharma women -- talk about a greatest hit!!

Okay one last thought before I crash: I'm now worried about Des. He's unconscious in the ocean. Camp is abandoned sans for the shooters. This is not good for Des

I admit, I cried too.  I wasn't prepared for how emotional some of his moments made me!!  The time when Liam gave him the ring... I was so sad for him I got choked up.  But you're right, the number one moment... just seeing him write that on the page...

Agree about the ring left in the crib ILE.

Yeah, Pen, I wondered about Des too.

Oh and I wondered if the blonde chick was supposed to be Joanna??  But probably just a random other.

I cried the whole time. I didn't get to see it all but can't wait to hear what you think.

Joanna - the lady who drowned!! OMG! and her body was never found and she was blonde. We need to find a pic of her from season 1. But not me. I'm going to bed.

Oh -- and somewhere on this board I joked Jack was the mastermind behind Danielle's dynamite stealing -- never thought that would be true. Crafty bastard.

Teared up too.  Hurley and Charlie saying "I love you" pushed me over the edge.  Damn, I hate being a sap

Why do I think (besides the preview) that another of Jack's brilliant plans is going to backfire?  Let's blow up an example tree, 'cause clearly no one could possibly be around to notice a huge flame ball(?!)

Happy moment when Rose and Bernard showed up.  Happier moment when Sayid stood up to Jack.  Next week should rawk!

Big question:  Did Alex go to look for Locke, or will he be in Srebernica in the Pacific until next February?

ETA: Joanna would be an excellent twist!  Good thinking Lisa!

Yesh, I was so happy to see Rose and Bernard too! They are just the sweetest things ever, I lurve them. Everything Rose says amuses me, she is a great character.

And yay for Sayid telling Jack to get his ass in line.

WOC, I hope Alex goes to look for him. Or Richard. Someone!

This is the only picture I have found of Joanna (on fire, LOL)  She may be in the background of an episode in season one, but I couldn't find any pictures.  She drowned in Episode 5.

Refresher on Joanna please?  I am on my third Jack & Diet and I can't go look it up myself.

Thanks.

Glad to see Rose and Bernard!
Seeing Claire sad was touching.  And I was going to be so angry at Charlie's dad if he didn't catch him at the pool.

Why didn't they just take an axe to the cable on the beach?

ANd since I am drinking I will double post.  I have never been a big CHarlie fan, I have considered him expendable all along.  But I also, suddenly, finally felt really sypathetic towards him tonight.

Also, I just really liked this show in general.  So many great lines and, for once, none were from Sawyer.  And you have to love the retunr of Rose and Bernard.  A response to the fans?

Moments that made me tear up: Desmond telling Charlie about his vision and Charlie dying.

Moments that made me cry, and I mean sob: everything that happened after Desmond told Charlie he had to die.

I've never cried over a Lost episode like this. Big shocker when Charlie didn't die in the end. I keep hoping that he won't but the writers want us to think that he is. Charlie and CLaire are so good together. Him telling Aaron he loved him broke my heart. Seeing the ring in the crib was hard. Knowing that Charlie loved Aaron like a son and wanted him to have the family ring was beautiful.

The whole episode was beautiful. Now, I'm afraid I may cry even more next week.

Why, oh why, can't Jack and Juliette die?  In some very painful manner?

Anyone else notice that the logo for the "Looking Glass" Hatch is a White Rabbit - from Alice's Adventures Through the Looking Glass?

OMG I am such a girl...I cried more than once tonight LOL The end got me the most; when he whacked Des so he could do what needed to be done. Totally reminded me of Armaggedon (another movie that makes me cry LOL). I also teared up when he told Aaron he loved him and then we saw the ring in the crib as Claire walked away with Aaron. *sniff sniff*

VM- i did notice the white rabbit logo on The Looking Glass, well, i thought it was a rabbit, so thanks for the verify LOL

Blonde chick in The Looking Glass station was played by Tracy Middendorf, who has been in a ton of shows..90210, X-Files, Angel, 24, DS9, Ally Mcbeal, CSI, Alias, and many more. She's been in a bunch of movies, too.  Don't think she was on Lost before, though.

I dunno who the blonde chick was. Someone in another forum said it was Jack's ex-wife Sarah. I don't think so. But the chick behind her kinda made me think of Sawyer's gal. You know, the one he knocked up. Clemtine's mama.

OMG, I am so glad that I am not the only one who cried watching this. I teared up several times, but the tears actually spilled over during the Charlie/Hurley scene of all places. I felt so badly for Hurley, and then when Charlie ran after him and hugged him... I lost it.

I hope he survives next week.

Anyone else have an overwhelming urge to smack Jack last night? Not once, but several times. He was so arrogant - I kept thinking "Make the world a better place. Save Charlie, drown Jack."

Charlie leaving his ring for Aaron was so touching. And his list. I loved meeting Claire being his number 1 moment.

VM, good catch. I missed seeing the white rabbit as the symbol.

Pen, good thinking that Danielle was getting the dynamite for Jack. I didn't see that coming. She's always been so anti-social, who'd have thought she'd be joining in the group plan?

It was great to see Rose and Bernard back. LOL - Bernard is quite the shot, isn't he? So who is the third shooter? I know Jack asked and they looked over at Jin and Sun. Is it Jin?

I agree this was mostly a set-up episode for the finale, and I cannot wait to see it!
