Alex giving Locke the gun, telling him he'll need it. And Ben's, "Jacob is not a man you just go and see." Kinda creepy and makes me wonder.

LOL, how often do the Hostiles attack that they have a system in place for when it does?!

Aww @ Annie and Ben dolls. How cute and sad. I guess she died in the Purge... kinda sad.

Fuck Kate is annoying. I'm glad Sayid is frustrated with her.

Richard and Tom not stopping Locke from beating up Mikhail, lmao nice.

What was that stuff Locke and Ben walked over that Locke smelled? It looked like ash, but was hard to tell since my tv is fuzzy LOL.

Whoa wtf!? Jacob is invisble? Seriously though, wtf? That was just... weird. And the "help me" was spooky LOL.

And young Richard didn't seem phased by Ben saying his dead mother spoke to him, which makes me curious.

Wow @ pit full of bodies. You think they woulda covered that up or something. But OMG!! WTF @ Ben shooting him!!! Wow does he ever not like that Locke seems to be special.

I dunno how I feel about this whole Jacob thing, however. It just seems kinda strange. Though now the "hidden in plain site" comments TPTB made make perfect sense LOL.

Anyway, I LOVED this episode, likeomggreatness.

Thoughts on the fate of Locke?

I think he is dead.  Spoilers said a major character would die.  I can be OK with this, Locke has become annoying.  And his character is fully realized.  Now that his father is dead, what else can the writers do with him?  

I dunno. I don't think it's his time to leave. Not with what else happened tonight.

If Locke is gone, Ben gets what he wants - where is the conflict for Ben to deal with of his being special or not? It pretty much makes it pointless for Locke to have heard Jacob if all they were going to do is kill him. How would they explore that storyline?

i dunno, i think if they would have killed him, it would be more definite.  They left it open ended.  I dont think Locke is annoying, i actually like his character.  Especially in this episode.  All though they are done with his back story, I think the writes  can still do alot with his character.  Really they can take him anywhere from here.  If he lives he can expose Ben to everyone.

I am seriously ready for an entire episode of everyone sitting around the campfire, swapping info.

I think Locke is probably dead.  But Ben will have hell to pay, because Jacob reached out to Locke, and now he is gone.

Um, was I watching Lost or Carnivale?  That whole Jacob thing's been done before.  Sigh...  

I also believe Locke is dead, but unlike SM, it pisses me off.  He was finally demanding the answers we've all been asking for, and not backing down one bit.  Maybe I'll change my mind in the next two weeks, but as of now, that was definitely one of the shark-jumpers we've been warned about.

Oops, I forgot to ask.  So what is everyone's take on the whisperers?  Are they the original inhabitants?

Also how was Richard so much older then Ben in the flashbacks but now it seems like Ben has about 10 yrs on Richard.

There is still plenty of conflict for Ben without Locke.  He has the upcoming battle with the Losties, Juliette has turned against him, Alex  has turned against him, and his flock of sheeplike followers have been really stirred up by Locke.  He may have shot Locke in a desperate effort to regain control, but it may not work.

Also, WTF is up with Richard and the Fountain of Youth?

OK I normally don't have anything to say.... WTF was that! The last 15 minutes I kept saying WTF. I am sad to see John shot and I hope he isn't dead. WOC I agree John was the only character getting answers.  

My guess about the line on the ground was dynomite powder from jungle woman.

Why hasn't Richard aged? Was that just poor thinking on their part?

OMG! Everything about this episode was exciting. I liked the way Locke took control and wouldn't back down, because I thought he'd finally get us some answers. I was kinda disappointed about not really seeing Jacob, clearly that is. But it was exciting.

My biggest issue is Richard. Does that dude ever age?

So is Jacob like an entity? A spirit that can only be seen by those who believe? Maybe he's not a man like Ben says but can appear however he wants. I dunno. All I know is I can't wait til next week.

I agree with crazyforinfo about the dynamite powder. I wonder if Danielle can see jacob and if she's gonna blow his ass up.

My Blog is up about this episode. When I saw Jacob - I immediately thought I saw - Randall Flagg.

It scared the living cr@p out of me.

Loved it!

Maybe he is Richard?  He appears youthful among the others but in the cabin is what he would really look like?  He does seem to react differntly to Ben thatn the other sheep.
