No kidding, TI LOL.

Btw, Patchy has a sexy accent. I have way too much of an absolutely painful headache right now to say more than that, lol.

Yeah, all her lines were in Russian.

I'm sure there is already a "Russian dialogue" thread at the loser forum.

Do any of you know what Ausiello was talking about with sawyer's line being the funniest of the show so far? I didn't notice anything that was THAT funny, no more than usual. But there were a few. And I like his quote about 'who are you?' to one of the new guys (I'd have to go back to see which one of them it was) kind of an injoke since they just 'showed up' in the middle of the show on the island.

Yeah, he said that to the crappy chick. That had me laughing out loud LOL

So, was Patchy telling the truth about the war between The Others and Dharma?? That would be an interesting story. I kind of assumed that The Others were part of Dharma in the beginning and went rouge or something.

Was a good episode, though. Not a lot of backstory on Sayid, but it was interesting to see the woman give him her forgiveness. I think he was denying he was the one that tortured her because he thought he deserved to be tortured back.

And how awesome is it that Sayid can cook!! Sexy guys that can cook are even sexier!!

ETA: I was just thinking, and I assumed that The Others were The Hostiles, but what if there were (or are) a total of 4 groups on the island. The Hostiles, The Others, Dharma, and The Losties???

ETA2: Just read this over at The 'Lage...
"No, you guys have it all wrong. The hostiles are the losties, something with time and Adam and Eve in the cave. Jack & Kate = Adam & Eve = hostiles."

I find that very interesting. I know the time loop theory has been brought up in the past, but the whole Losties=Hostiles (who have been on the island since before Dharma) got my head spinning LOL

The Others are the Hostiles. Kelvin called them Hostiles which was years before OWA crashed. That froot loop with the time loop theory is using something other than Widmore Laboratories drugs.
Like Patch said, the Hostiles either destroyed stuff or commandeered it. I think they're nothing more than four toed locust.

Juliet What is that?
Richard Alpert That is orange juice...with a considerable amount of Dharma Calms Forte mixed in.
Juliet You want me to drink it?

"And B, who the hell are you?" That has to be one of my favorite Sawyer lines ever!

I need to rewatch the episode tonight, but I enjoyed it. Sayid's backstories are always interesting. And YES to sexy men that cook!

I agree that the Others are the Hostiles. Though now the Losties are becoming the Others' Hostiles.

It was great to see Sayid actually asking some questions. It's about time the Losties ask when they have the opportunity.

woo-hoo finally some action with the losties kicking some butt, one thing bothered me though, Sayid said he could tell by the diagram of wires he got from the flame, they lead to a village(barracks) and they carried enough power to light up a community. Now my question is this, wouldn't the blowing up of the flame cut the power to the community?

GB, I wondered about that too.

Here's my question, because (at least on just one viewing) I cannot decide: When was Sayid telling the truth? When he said he did torture or the woman, or when he said he didn't?

I'm leaning toward when he said he didn't. I sort of thought that he realized when talking to her that by saying he did it and apologizing, he could release her from some of her mental pain.

Not sure Leto, but my guess is he found it in the notebook that was the operation manual for the flame

I liked the episode and really enjoyed Sayid's cleverness. I hope he can squeeze out some info from Ivan the Terrible before he escapes/dies.

Didn't like Locke's actions. They weren't believable to me. First of all, there's so much new crap they found at the flame to keep them busy, no way he sits down to play a game of computer chess. Second, no way he abandons the most-tricksy russian to go back to the game. THIRDLY, NO WAY he just blindly starts entering codes not knowing what they might do. You'd think about it, talk w/ Sayid and Kate, at the LEAST find out what the russko might say about it. I wanted Sayid to bitchslap him SO bad.

IMO, at the end, I think the russian guy was telling the truth about the war and the purge and I believed him when he said earlier that the hostiles were here LONG before dharma.

I don't understand Mrs. Klugh begging to get shot... did she really think she was at the end of her rope? I mean, what? She doesn't think these idiots can't get duped again like all the other times? Must've been a really big damn reason for her to want to die.

Borky, I agree with you about Locke. However, you gotta remember it's Locke and rarely will he discuss anything with anyone else once he has the thought in his head that he is doing something right. He probably thought he was saving them all, so figured he didn't need to ask first.

I also think Ivan the Terrible (LOL, it made me laugh, had to use it ) was telling the truth... and really, wouldn't the Hostiles have had to have been there before Dharma if they had Candle make that tape? I mean, I know they could have made it later on, but it almost seemed, to me at least, like Dharma and the Hostiles had a deal (like what Mikhail was saying when Sayid showed up... "we had a deal, you'd leave me alone, blah blah blah")... "let us do our research and we'll not bother you". But something must have gone wrong, Dharma overstepped it's boundaries, who knows.

As for Klugh... I think they are just supposed to sacrifice their lives before telling anyone anything about who or what they are. She told him he knew what he had to do, that he knows the conditions. He kept saying they still have another way. So her saying he knows the conditions - whatever those may be - suggests that there is some sort of protocol in a situation like this.

Mikhail also raised the gun to his own head, so after he killed her, he was supposed to kill himself.

I guess upon reflection, the thing worth killing themselves over could've been outing where the village was.

Mikhail says he'd die before telling Sayid where the village was and then seemed surprised when Sayid said he didn't need him to find the village.

I also believe the Others were there long before Dharma. I can see them hiding and watching Dharma building and brining in technology that they, the Others, could use. My question would be how much, of anything, the Others had before Dharma arrived?
