Regarding why the Button Pushers were outside after a ginat implosion:  It's way too early to have a real answer for that but right now I'm partial to I think what Borky said - maybe the air escaping an implosion would propel them out.  It's a thin theory, but plausible nonetheless.  Otherwise, the time stoppage theory could fit here.  When Des turned the key, time stopped temporarily and they could have walked out before the implosion occurred.

Desmond - why was he running around when Locke saw him like he was all confused.  The other button pushers seemed to be ok.  Maybe he was just confused about his newly found powers.  And as a recovering Catholic (joke) - didn't Desmond have the positive ID of Jesus in the last scene?  I cannot wait to see where that story thread takes us.

Les - I saw the Jesus-esque qualities of Des in the last few minutes of the show too. I'm anxious to see whether it was just coincidence, or whether they will actually pursue something there.

They have to be building that church for somebody.  The island has a plan, you'd know that if you'd just talk to it.

I didn't see it mentioned before, but I thought it was funny how they had the cop wearing a Geronimo Jackson T-shirt.  I wonder if this is just going to be a running joke or it will have some significance in the future.

The way the one guy commented on it, saying his dad had good taste in music... I wondered if maybe the pot growers were the hippies from GJ? Not that I can see it being all that important, but yeah, lol.
