By far my most fave new show of this season. Did anyone else check it out?

If not, I absolutely recommend it. It's fabulous. Vibrant, quirky and whimsical... it's great.

"Pushing Daisies" is probably the fall pilot with the most buzz among a less-than-thrilling slate of new shows. It's a gloriously visual fairy tale full of saturated colors and whimsical stories, the kind of romantic comedy/whodunit that should, by rights, captivate a nation starved for quirkiness and delight.

Srsly people, watch it.

I had seen promos for this and thought it looked interesting. But I forgot all about it last night.

Until I was babysitting and saw it on at 11pm. So I watched it then. It was good.

I saw it. I agree w/ everything except maybe "great".

It felt almost like watching a Tim Burton flick; dark yet whimsical humor. Which I love.

To me, I don't go as far as calling it great, due to the overly cutesiness of it all and (purposely or not) underwhelming predictability.

First episode, and we already know that he's going to perma-wake Chuck as soon as he sees the news on tv. And predicting the shady funeral director as Chuck's trade-off was hardly difficult. Not to mention the figurines had more than sentimental value, though our heros don't realize this till the very unsurprising end.

Also, the narrator talks too much, but not because of what is needed of him to further the story.... but because of all the wordy, fairy-tale-like descrïptions which, to me, added so much useless colorful information that it bordered on the brink of whitewashing the entire storyline.

I'm a bit worried about the "forbidden love" and how that's going to play out... or really... how it's going to be drug out, constantly focused on, and rehashed to death with each episode as the series goes on. Hopefully, it'll get toned down quickly and used sparingly.

Still though, I really liked it, and it's very well done as far as pilots go and it's the best new show I've seen so far this fall. I know I'll keep watching. If you're a fan of dark humor, Tim Burton, or Lemony Snicket, check it out.

Yeah, I am curious to see how they'll be able to make a series out of it. The "can't touch Chuck" and "solving crimes by raising the dead for a minute" could get redundant if not done well. I'm hoping they'll be able to keep it interesting.

And yeah, the narrator could hush a little bit, lol.

LOL , I was going to download this , it had good ratings on eztv torrents but all comments are about if they will be able to make a whole series out of this ... So I'll wait and see if it stays as good and don't get cancelled before watching it .

I caught the end of it (stoopid Cub Scouts) and I love Lee Pace from his last quirky sitcom, Wonderfalls, so I'm definitely going to try and check it out online this week.

I miss you

I saw the 2nd eppy and it put me to sleep. literally. I didn't bother rewinding what I slept thru. I've given up on this show.

Not really bashing it, mind you. I think it's just, purposely or not, missing my demographic. If I was 10 years younger, I'd probably like it more.
