Does anyone else watch this? I love it. It comes on Tuesdays at 9 E.T. I enjoy it even though it can be a bit "campy". heres the offical site:

I watch this 2f. I love the humor in it, and don't mind the campiness as it is part of the show.

My reaction to the season 2 premiere last week - wtf is up with Henry? I've always loved his character, but is he turning dark?

Yes he lost the woman he loved, but so did Carter, who also gave up the child he'll never know. And it was to save the world.

I'm hoping he eventually comes to his senses.

Eureka is my summer favorite.  I love all the quirky characters and the crazy gadgets they all come up with.

I guess we'll see how things work out with Henry, I can't imagine him remaining dark, but I guess anything is possible.

I just bought the season 1 dvds for my husband who also loves the show. It was great, as we rewatched all the first season right before season 2 premiered.

I think henry may turn out to be eureka's doctor doom. It just seems like if this is going to be a series there needs to be a bad guy. Yeah stark is the bad guy kind of but its mostly his arrogance that gets everyone in trouble I think it would be cool if there is a guy purposely trying to do bad.

I think the adversaries are going to be the therapist and the senator she reports to, what Henry is up to remains to be seen, He may strike up an alliance with them, now that he is working at the center.

I agree, GB. Henry's going to work for the Center will put him right where they want him.

My hope is that the good in him will ultimately come through, and he'll end up foiling their plot.

I'm weird I want henry too be bad good stories with him and the sherrif being best friends then him being the bad guy. Think it will make for good tv. And the whole common sense vs. Book smarts would be interesting also.

The Doc is definatly probing Henry to see if he will turn. And Allison did a bang up job with the force field situation and if Stark and sheriff Carter team up like it seems they may that would be interesting.

Yep 2f, saw that one coming. I'm thinking Stark will stay at Global Dynamics, setting a working friendship with Carter, with a little "who gets the girl" on the side

I really like Starks character in this episode. He seems much more relaxed and just cooler.

Yeah probably so therefore they have to make him more likeable. Carter is one of the best written characters around now a days anyone no matter what they do (except for crazy smart scientists that would already be in Eureka) would react like Carter to these situations. If Stark makes a run for Allyson they will really have to make him more likeable which I think they are starting on. Because most of us relate to Carter and don't want to see Stark win the girl but I guess whatever will be will be.

interesting epi last night, it is apparent the Beverly wanted to have more sessions with Henry before he goes to work at GD. Being a shrink, she and her group had some kind of brainwashing in mind for him. Also, with her leaving for a debriefing, I wonder if Carter's ex will stay and become GD's resident shrink.

I finally got a chance last night to watch last week's episode... and the damn dvr didn't get the last six minutes, thanks to the sci-fi channel running late.

How did they stop the weather machine? The last I got to see was the weatherman admitting he had started it.

My other question was how the Chloe thing was resolved, but from 2f's post above I'm guessing it wasn't?

oh Jeannie, you missed a very dramatic ending, (takes tongue out of cheek) Carter flipped a switch on the machine.

now I'm confused, is her name Chloe? I swear everytime I hear her name on the show I thought they are saying "Zoey". Anyway, yeah 2f, I noticed she was in the previews, that is why I made my guess her mom would take over for Beverly, that way Chloe/Zoey wouldn't have to choose whom to live with.

ETA - from Eureka website

Zoe Carter is Jack Carter's defiant, delinquent, and also terribly intelligent daughter.

cancels appt with hearing specialist

Thanks, GB. I knew it was Zoey, but hey... I hadn't had my morning coffee yet.

Damn, I wish I hadn't missed that exciting conclusion to the show. He flipped a switch? That's almost too exciting to contemplate.
