I know we have at least a few fans of the Vegas show here so here so I thought we could discuss the show here!

(Thanks Pen for the other whows forum idea, and TI for making it!)

First, I have to say that I was so relieved that they didn't kill Brass in the finale, and that he will be back. I've come to like him over the years!

How does everyone feel about Gil and Sarah finally getting together? To be honest, I was disappointed when the camera swung around to reveal Sarah. I personally was hoping he was talking to Lady Heather. I thought those 2 (Gil and Heather) had more of a chemistry than Gil and Sarah. Oh well, at least he's getting some from somewhere.  smile/!icon_wink.gif

Does anyone watch CSI: Miami? I think that we should have a seperate thread for that, but I wasn't sure if we had others who watch it and would like to discuss it.

Possible spoiler for next season in invisible text below. Highlight if you want to read it.

BTW, to use invisible text here place [*couleur=#D6DBDE][*/couleur] around the spoiler, but remove the *s. Thanks ILE!   http://www.oceanicworldairlines.com/forum/nfphpbb/images/smiles/icon_hugglepounce.gif

I heard that next season, Catherine's daughter will be killed in a car accident, and in her grief, Catherine and  Warrick will begin an affair.

I tend to think this is a good possibility, since in the final epiosode of last season they showed how Warrick and his wife are not being very successful in their marriage, and the odd scene they threw in where Catherine took a call from Lindsey, who wanted to go to a movie, but Catherine blew her off because she was at the hospital with Brass. The scene was unnecessary to that show, but if Lindsey dies early in the next season and Catherine has been spending more time with work than with her daughter, it is a good set up to help push her into Warrick's arms. Combine grief and guilt...

Majorly disappointed in Gil and Sarah (and that it wasn't Lady Heather).  After all the times he essentially said "no this can't happen" we all of a sudden see it does??  If you ask me, that sounds like pity sex.

And as for the spoiler:
Jeannie and I discussed this one at the other place a bit and although I will be sad if her daughter dies, I can totally see the Warrick thing.  Remember also the flirtation before he got married and her comment about "the fantasy" after she found out he was married.  So I see it as a real possibility.

I was very disappointed in the Gil and Sarah thing as well.  I had major jaw drop when it happened.  And I am in total agreement with the spoiler.  I can see it too.

YIKES!!! Bad news for those of you who watch both Grey's Anatomy *and* CSI (and don't have TiVO):

Ugh. I had heard that already Lisa. They are moving stuff around like crazy and it makes me furious.

I'll just have to watch one and tape the other. I'll probably tape Grey's since I still haven't even seen all of season 2. (I got started watching in the middle of season 2, and missed a few shows even then.) I did get season 1 through Netflix, and I've seen all of those now.

I hate how they put all the good shows on opposite each other, and then there are days without a thing worth watching at all.

Kristin had some CSI talk in her most recent column (spoilerfonted just in case):
Some CSI Fans Are Livid About Srissom. I know this because I've received many letters and emails bemoaning the reveal of the coupling of Sara [Jorja Fox] and Grissom [William Peterson] in the season finale. Still, apparently, producer Mendelsohn is in the dark. "I came back from hiatus," she says, "and had all these letters on my desk from fans around the world. I don't know whether it was just my assistant who put all the pro letters on my desk. But, across the board, the fans wrote it was such a pleasure to see two adults engaged in a mature relationship that's not salacious; it's not about them ripping off each other's clothes."

"That's this season," Jorja cracks, then admits to me she's well aware that some fans aren't too happy about that. "I have heard from the writers that there are a lot of letters and a lot of them are saucing. And I've had people come up to me and say, 'What are you doing with him?!' It's cool that people feel so strongly."

Not so cool for you anti-Srissomers? The couple definitely will be going strong in the new season.

I hope they don't make the Grisson/Sarah stuff too prominent in the season.  I, too, was hoping that he would get with Lady Heather.  But I think it's even more than that.

He seems like a mature man emotionally and Sarah almost like a needy little girl in comparison.  It kind of makes the pairing unequal and a little creepy to me.  It's hard to see how it will end up good.

As for the spoiler above, I definitely could see the writers doing that.  The chemistry has been there all along.

And Jeannie, you know I watch CSI:Miami.  I read some where that (spoiler font)  We'll see sister-in-law Ylena Salas again this next season.

I was watching some re-runs from this season on Spike, and in retrospect, there were a few scenes this season that suggested Grissom and Sara had hooked up, but that I totally missed the first time around.  I was busy watching for the Lady Heather hook-up as well.
