Recap of the season finale:

Lynette: She discovered Tom cheated on her. She has left the house with the kids. But Parker had an accident and she was compelled to call Tom. Tom explains that he is not having anb affair, but had recently discovered that he has another child, a teenager named Kayla, with an old fling from Atlantic city. When Lynette tries to drive the ex out of Tom's life for good, she uses the money given to her by Lynette to buy a home nearby to Tom and Lynette.  

Gabrielle: While out at the club, she sees a news report that Carlos was killed in a car accident. She rushes home and tearfully tells the maid that he is dead. The maid begs her not to kill him which confuses Gabby.  Carlos is actually alive and in the house. Gabby becomes suspicious that he and the maid are having an affair, so she asks the OBGYN to see if she is still a virgin - turns out she is NOT. Gabby rigs the house with listening devices and hears them having sex.

Zach and Paul: Framed for the murder of that evil neighor lady, Paul tells his son he needs money for a lawyer, and to go ask his grandfather.  His grandfather tells him that he's having second thoughts about leaving all his money to him. Zach cuts off his life support. He gets the cash. Shockingly, Zach calls his father he didn't get the cash, and he doesn't know when he can come visit again. Then he tells the assistant to get him a new cell phone with a new number.

The Applewhites: Betty tries to move in the middle of the night when the cops arrive: In a flashback we learn that Caleb attacked Melanie, but Matthew finished her off when she threatened to go to the police to accuse Caleb.

Bree: she runs into the dentist friend of Susan's at the psych hospital. She asks him not to tell anyone else she is a patient there, and she agrees. Bree dislikes the therapy and eventually breaks out when Betty calls her and informs her that her daughter has run off with a killer.  The dentist sees her leave the place.

Danielle and Matthew:  are broke and starving, so they decide to break into Bree's safe. They need a hammer and go to his house for one but his mom is there. Betty confronts him and and he says he did it to protect Caleb. After he leaves, she calls the police. Bree finds Danielle and Matthew in her home and she tells her daughter he is a killer.  Matthew pulls a gun and orders Bree to step aside, but instead she walks towards him, saying it's the only way to prove to Danielle what kind of person he is. A gunshot goes off, and Matthew falls to the ground: a police sniper has shot him through the window.

Susan/Mike/Karl: She buys a trailer for her and Julie to live in but then Karl buys Susan a house when he learns Michael is going to propose to her. Then, the guys fight. Karl is hurt, and Susan rushes to his aid. Later, she goes to check on Mike, but he has chipped his tooth so she refers him to her dentist friend. He goes to see Orson, who notices that a prison dentist worked on his mouth before.  Mike asks if Orson ever worked on him, since he seems familiar, but Orson says no. Susan sends Mike an invitation to meet her for dinner in her trailer home. She tells her friends she's the one who's going to pop the question.  Mike is en route when a car runs him over. We are left unsure whether he is unconscious or dead in the street and see the driver is the dentist.

Orson continued: The next day, Bree finds Orson in her front yard with flowers. "Congratulations on your escape," he says and she smiles and invites him in. Recap of the finale was incorporated from www.abc.com/desperatehousewives

Season Three Plot Spoiler:

One of the Housewives will die this season, according to last week's TV Guide. There will be a storyline that brings most of the main characters to a grocery store, where something will happen leaving the show with one less housewife.

I also heard that there is a game coming out for the PC this fall which will allow you to create your own housewife. That sounds more intriguing to me than a game on a phone, as I really would despise playing on such a small screen!

Has anyone seen the first two episodes? Its looking to be another good season!! I think that Bree's new hubby killed more than just his missing wife, based on how he called that dead girl Monique!!

And how cute is Susan's new guy? I love his accent!

Yeah, it has been better this year and thank god for CBS football, running long this year so I can watch Cold Case and DH, I soo need a DVR, LOL

I agree, Pen. I think he's psycho. He didn't seemed surprised by the dead chick, and I think he did kill his wife, plus he hit Mike with his car. PSYCHO!!!

Speaking of Mike - do you think he'll ever wake up this season?

And what's up with Bree's son seemingly being nice to her? I cannot get used to that.

Does anyone wonder what the deal is with Mike's phone number on the dead lady? Do you think that may be WHY Orsin has a grudge against him? Not that he killed the woman, but that he thought Mike did??
