In "Par Avion", it seemed there was an unusual focus on the number 8. I'll have to verify what I caught but this is what I remember:

-opening scene, the camera flashes to the dashboard, the number 8 from the tachometer is shown on left side of screen.
ETA: the 8 is in the odometer. 80 can be seen on the speedometer as well.

-one of the hospital rooms mommy was at was #8
ETA: I can't find the 8 here after rewatching. guess i was mistaken.

-Cholly reading Claire's note. He says they're from 815 and have been on island 80 days.
