Isn't today the day?

Well, I didn't make it. But I don't feel bad though. I tried my best and that's all that matters. Besides, they passed on so many great voices in the crowd that it was unbelievable. There were some of the best voices I've ever heard in my life auditioning and they said no so they could let idiots who wore spin wheels on their chests and saran wrap around their legs go through. American Idol isn't a singing competition. I did get a little interview done with some friends while we down there. All in all, it was fun.

I wanna thank everyone for being so supportive. I guess in a way I'm glad I didn't because then I wouldn't be able to watch Lost. And I can't miss that. LOL My friend asked me if some offered me a million dollars to stop watching lost would I do it. I had to think about it. I still can't decide. How pathetic am I?!

but seriously, thanks again ya'll. It meant a lot to have you all rooting for me. This forum and everyone in it rocks!!!!!!

DS, at least you tried, and that's more than many people would do. You had an experience that most won't ever have. I give you a ton of credit for going there and trying out. Most people would be too afraid for that. Good for you!

And we're glad you are here! And glad that you won't miss Lost.

It takes a lot of self-motivation and courage to put yourself out there as you did and take a risk like that. Not many people are brave enough to try that. I'm proud of you for trying!!!

Yup yup, major kudos to you for having the balls to do go for it! But hey, at least you'll be able to tell your grand kids someday that you even tried out, not everyone can say that!

Like you said, they turn away people who are amazing to make room for the idiots who give them ratings. I've had some friends try out for CI that are GREAT, but got turned down... and then you watch audition week and it's just like, "wtf"?

yes, what the others said! At least you gave it a try! And now you know you have the guts to do something like that!

And I heard the same stories about Idol here, they turn away people with great voices so they can have the idiots on TV.

I think I'm gonna watch the first week of AI just to see if I recognize any of those dumbasses that tried out and made it.

I won't be surprised. I've seen some of the people who make the cut and I just do not understand it.
