Now that Charlie is dead, a fact that I've grudgingly choosen to accept but don't really want to, I wonder if it's possible that he will show up in a flashback or something.

I for one am still curious as to what exactly happened on the day that Ethan kidnapped Charlie and Claire. According to the transcrïpts here's what was said.

LOCKE:  At least three distinct sets all over the place.  It looks like there
might've been a struggle.

(Locke gets up and finds more signs in the dirt.)  

JACK:  What?  What is it?

LOCKE:  Drag marks here ... and here.

JACK:  Claire and Charlie -- they were together.

LOCKE:  I think they've been taken.

Then there was.....

LOCKE:  The tracks are still fresh.

JACK:  This doesn't make any sense.  How could one man drag off two people, one
of them pregnant?

LOCKE:  You're asking the wrong question.  Not how, why?

I disagree. I wanna know how one man was able to drag two people through the jungle and one of them pregnant.

Also, I can't remember what post this was but someone said that Charlie's ring being left in the crib at the end of Greatest Hits was really sad because if Claire finds it she won't know what it means. What if she does. Maybe Charlie told the story behind the ring and the significance of what it means.

It's kinda like with the flash back of Charlie's first time meeting Claire on the night of the crash. But I recalled there first encounter when Charlie was helping Claire out by putting her bag on Locke's old wheelchair.

Now that my favorite chracter is dead, I'm trying to find reasons for the writers to have to use him again. When Claire finds out Charlie's dead, maybe the whole kidnapped by Ethan thing will be played out cause if you remember, Charlie kinda died there too. And maybe for the same reason. He was trying to protect Claire.

I think we will see him again in flashbacks. I'm not sure how much of his story is untold because "Greatest Hits" wrapped  most of it up but the entire Ethan story IS still suspicious. So you may be onto something there.

It might be difficult with both Ethan and Charlie dead, unless it happens in a Claire flashback.

Well I'm wondering if Juliette - being fertility lady, was involved with that?

I think she will. She's seen Charlie wear it, and if Desmond gives her Charlie's greatest hits list, the ring will be mentioned there. She may not get the family connection, but she'll understand that it was something very important to Charlie, and that he has left it  for Aaron.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see him, most likely in a Claire flashback - or Juliet, as Pen mentions. Wrapping up the Ethan story would be a perfect time for Charlie to come back.

Also, maybe Claire will see him in a vision, much like Locke has seen Boone.

I was a bit worried about the ring though... I mean, they exploded the tents. By luck, maybe Claire's was free from damage, but with everything that was going on, I worried the ring may go missing.

Damn. Now I'm worried too ILE. I know Charlie died cause he loved them and wanted everyone to be rescued but that ring and the note were meant specially for Claire and Aaron. That's gonna suck majorly if they never get them.

I'm not sure the note will make it either. Didn't Des put it back into his pocket just before Mikhail started shooting and Des dove in?

Lets hope for water proof sharpies. If his eulogy or whatever his lifes hit list gets destroyed that would be very sad he wanted claire to have that and to know those things. I think i would almost get sick if this happens or if they don't address it further

Oh man. He did jump off into the water with the note in his pocket. Man, now I'm depressed again. Maybe they can do something about though. crosses fingers and hopes

I'm wondering if now Claire will have more screen time in season 4. Kinda get a chance to see her perform more than what she normally did in the other seasons. I guess I'm trying to say I hope her chacracter moves forward in the show. Do that make sense?

I am hoping we learn more about Aaron being special, and with that -we should see more of Claire. Also - the fact she is Jack's half-sister is somehow going to develop more, at least before the series finale. I'm anxious to see more of that story too.

That would be cool. I dunno about Aaron having powers though. He's just a baby right now. How far will his powers progress?

I wonder if maybe they'll do a time jump thing where we might see Aaron as an adult or maybe a manifestation of what Aaron might turn out to be, via Smokey that is.

The storyline with Aaron being special was a big part of the show once, so I think it`s strange if they don`t re-visit that at some point and give us some answers. At least I hope they will.

OMG! I got all excited because3 in the season 4 preview it looks like Charlie is there on the beach talking with Hurley. I wonder if that's Smokey's doing.
