And then -- we had the thought by Rain I think, that maybe the ship was somehow alerted to come looking for the island because of Locke enterin 77. if that is true -- Mikhail would have been WELL AWARE that she was coming since he monitored that station for so long and I presume would know WHO would come if that code was entered.

Perhaps -- he know EXACTLY who would come which is why, if the 77 was ever entered, he rigged the Flame to Blow Up to cover up whatever documents were inside the Flame when these people arrived to the island. So they would not see it.

What do you guys think? We never did understand the purpose for wanting to rig that hatch with C4.

the only problem I have with this, it was Dr. Candle speaking about entering "77", which would have been years ago when the tape was made. Also, for a ship to get there that quickly, it would have to be stationed fairly close. I just can't put my head around a group waiting around for decades for "77"

But if time moves different on island versus off island -- it may not have been that quick for the ship to appear. I forgot to mention that is part of my theory on this too. Because I cannot buy that it is currently December 2004 on island, and somehow Jack is now in April 2007 and just now is having his little breakdown. I really think, considering that Aaron looked quite babyish in the Flash Des saw of Claire boarding a helicopter to be rescued, that their rescue occurs within months of December 2004.

Well, they might have had some sort of "search station" - just waiting to pick up a signal for the island. If this is really important to them, and they have been waiting for a long time to get access to the island.

We saw Penelope even seemed to have a "listening station", so I assume whoever is behind that "freight" has even more resources than she?

One of the bloggers at DarkUFO brought up something I hadn`t thought about, when Ben is talking about the people coming he says: "You are bringing people here that will kill every LIVING person on this island"... does that mean there are some people on the island they can`t kill (not meaning they are zombies or ghosts or anything LOL).

I didn't read much into that... I dunno, it just seems like something to say, kinda emphasizing the danger. *shrugs*

I thought about that Rain , lol and what's up with this DarkUFO stuff can't we just think for ourself ?! , actually I thought he may be talking about not only Jacob surviving , but also Richard Alpert who does not seem to age and could be a "non living" person ?

Actually the DarkUFO stuff is just a way to try to spark some discussion.

I`m sure we can all think for ourselves, but GD is not exactly sparkling with discussion, is it?

And when I post about something I have found elsewhere, I feel like mentioning that and not throwing it out there as something I have thought of.

Just going to agree with Rain here.

Of course we can think for ourselves, but when there's only a handful of people doing the thinking, discussion is limited. 5 of us can only say our same thoughts so many times before we're just hearing the same thing over and over.

There's no harm in bringing outside thoughts to try to give the few that do discuss more to talk about.

I have to go with Rain on this. I don't have the time right now to prowl other sites and her bringing in topics from elsewhere keeps me thinking and informed. It also does spur discussions on this board which is good. I think some of the topics are thought up by Lenny, but they do help in spuring on new ideas.

But yes, it`s not like I agree with all of those ideas myself, but sometimes us discussing them will make us think of something new or see things in a different light.

I'm not sure if he is immortal or just lives long, at least not yet. But he certainly seems to have an ability atypical of a traditional living person.

Back onto this topic again, this has sparked debate elsewhere that the 77 brought the ship. Presuming it did bring the ship, was Naomi lying about her employer? Or did she really think Penny hired her, but was told a lie? I'm wondering if she WAS being honest but that since her mission was based on say, the fact 77 was entered, this was a top secret mission and the sentry they send out to land on the island-Naomi-was not told the truth or the entirety of how they were consulted to do the job, or why it needed to be done. I think its pretty clear Penny is honestly unaware of a Naomi or a freighter 18 miles away from Desmond's island. And if the Enter 77 caused the freighter to come, who's the boss? (I have a POLL about that in Polls fyi)
