JACOB
-In the Bible, he had 12 sons representing what would become the 12 tribes of Israel. One of those sons/tribes is Benjamin.

-Danny Pickett says that Jack "wasn't even on Jacob's list." Dan is another son/tribe of Israel.

-His name was in a phrase seen on the psych vid in room 23. "God loves you as He loved Jacob"

-In the Bible, Jacob's father is Isaac. Isaac is the faith healer in Uluru who couldn't heal Rose.

-In the Bible, Jacob loves,completely adores, and eventually marries Rachel.


RACHEL
-Jacob's 2nd wife in the Bible. We have 4 Rachel's in LOST: Rachel Blake from TLE; Juliette's sister; Claire's friend; and the mother of Tom Brennan's child. (Tom is Kate's childhood sweetheart)

-Rachel is barren for a long time, but eventually bears Jacob two of his twelve sons, one of which is named Benjamin. Juliette's sister, Rachel, is also seemingly barren until Jules helps her out.


THOMAS
-Thomas is one of Jesus's 12 deciples. In LOST, we have Tom as the portly Other and Tom Brennan, Kate's childhood sweetheart.


MICHAEL
-Michael is a heavy-hitting archangel in the Bible.


ADAM and EVE
-Adam and Eve were the names assigned by Jack to the dead couple found in the cave.
