OK...I didnt see this anywhere, so if its been mentioned then let me know. When Drunken Jack was back in reality, working at the hospital he told Dr. McBlackguy to go get his father and ask him something or other. So riddle me this Lost fans, if there is no time loop then how is Jack's dad still alive? Or is Jack simply drunk and delusional from his Hillbilly Heroine (a.k.a. Oxycontin)?

MY theory on this is that Jack is saying his father is alive because the hospital does not know Jack's father is dead yet... noone but Jack knows that (Where is Jack's mother By The Way???)

I totally buy into the Jacob taking on the forms of deceased relatives, Jacks father, Bens Mother, Walt?, All along I have thought that all of the Island scenes might be a flash back, the Flash forward in fact might be the present. However as the philosophy of time being like a mobius strip I guess that one could "jump" from one point to another thus making the past present be confusing but explaining premonitions and some actions that seem out of character.
I for one do not see Jack and Kate ending up together, I can see Kate and Sawyer, only to split up later, Kate is on the run and Sawyers just has to do the con.
The final scene in Season three shows Kate and Jack off the Island but not together, Kate says"I have to go. He's gonna be wondering where I am." Here is the one that will get some people thinking that I am truly insane, could "him" be Ben? Jacob?

Look at the seemingly intelligent people that do the most outrageous things while under the influence of a Cult Leader. I dont see Ben as being all that Charismatic, it is Jacob that seems to have the real power over the Others, Ben gets his power in that he is/was the only one who could communicate directly with Jacob.
That being the case, Kate could fall victim to Jacobs spell.
